2020 PBA Trade Value - Northport: What is the right trade package for Standhardinger?

We are down to three teams in our series of articles wherein we rank the players according to trade value. Let us define trade value as the potential return if a player will be traded, alone.

Today, we will tackle one of the most interesting teams this season, the Northport Batang Pier. A lot of eyes are on them because they have the best player this year.

#6 Bradwyn Guinto, Nico Elorde, Jerramy King
I do not think all the other teams value these three. Although, there are some who should be willing to give up a 2nd-round pick for them. Guinto is a strong 6'6 with good post moves. Elorde is the typical energetic short point guard. While King is the athletic scorer that every team wants.

#5 Paolo Taha
I put Taha in a higher rank because I am more secure that Northport will get a 2nd-rounder for Taha. He has proven himself to be a versatile defender and his three-point shots are starting to fall.

#4 Kevin Ferrer, Sean Manganti
These are the guys that can deliver a package of more than a 2nd rounder for Northport. Ferrer will only turn 27 this year. So, he still has time to further develop his game and meet the hype that he has when he entered the league. Manganti was the 1st round pick of Northport in the 2019 PBA draft and I do not have doubt that he will be impressive in his rookie season.

#3 Sean Anthony
Even though he is the most underrated player in the league, I can still see several teams out there that will give up a 1st round pick to get him. Last year, he averaged 16.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 2.4 steals and 41% FG per game. I actually think that with that level of production, he deserves more than a 1st round pick.

#2 Robert Bolick
To be honest, Sean should be more valuable because he is a wing and Sean provides more than Bolick. But, Robert is considered to be one of the up-and-coming superstars of the league. So, even with his bad injury, I can still see more teams out there who will give up more for Bolick than for Sean.

#1 Christian Standhardinger
Christian is the best player in the 2020 PBA season. There is a chance that there is another player out there who will out-do him this year but I will not bet on that. We are well-aware that Standhardinger is on the rumor-mill for a while. The question is, what is the right package for a Standhardinger?

It should be four 1st round picks. The guy is at his prime and his presence alone makes your team a contender. Of course, you can liquidate some of those 1st rounds picks into a different package. Like, Two first-round pick plus two young guys who are as valuable as 1st round picks is an acceptable package, also.

Overall, I am not actually hoping for a trade. It will be much better for the PBA if he remains with Northport.
