2020 PBA Trade Suggestion for Northport: How about a partner for Standhardinger?

This is a series of articles wherein we will suggest a trade for each team that will catapult them to the right path. When I say the right path, the two extremes will be all-out contending and all-out tanking.

Today, we will focus on the Northport Batang Pier. Unfortunately for them, the COVID-19 happened. With the injury of June Mar Fajardo, they have the most valuable player this season in Christian Standhardinger.

They will fail to take advantage of that for three conferences. Actually, we may not even have a single conference this year.

Yes, there is a chance that we may not see another PBA game this 2020!

Although there is also a benefit for Northport because, with the quarantine, there is a good chance that Robert Bolick will be available when the PBA resumes.

With all of that, I think Northport should try to find a stretch bigman because that is the right kind of big to partner with a Standhardinger.

So, this is my suggestion.

Rain or Shine trade: Beau Belga, 2020 2nd
Northport trade: 2021 1st, Sean Manganti

I think, Belga will be a perfect fit beside Standhardinger. He may not be that efficient from beyond the arc but he has that threat of hitting a three.

Just by having that threat, he should be able to make the life of Standhardinger, much easier. Also, his physical defense will give Standhardinger relief on the defensive end. Also, his playmaking will help in maximizing the other players around them, especially Sean Anthony.
