PBA Trade Rumors: Is Abueva in the process of getting traded?

I am pretty sure you have heard already that Calvin Abueva was done with all the requirements that the PBA tasked him to accomplish.

In the process, Calvin actually embraced the requirements and showed a different attitude in the interviews. His emphasis on his psychological sessions as very helpful to his growth are a good indication that we will be witnessing a different Calvin in the future.

What was interesting though was the revelation of commissioner Willie Marcial that finishing all the requirements is not yet the key for the lifting of the suspension.

Calvin still needs to undergo a process.

Actually, even that may not be enough because the Games and Amusement Board wants to talk to him first before they grant him back his professional license.

Going back to that "process", what is that all about?

Is it paper works? I do not think it needs more than a day to do that. One good possibility is the presentation first to the board of governors and getting their approval of the lifting of his suspension.

Other than that, what about the possibility that the "process" is just a mechanism to give more time to the San Miguel Corporation faction to negotiate a trade with Phoenix?

If you were not aware, there was a rumor earlier this year, saying that the SMC faction will now allow the lifting of Calvin as long as the Beast will be traded to them.

What do you think? Is it possible that an SMC franchise is now on the trade table with Phoenix, talking about Calvin?
