PBA Free Agency: Top 10 available before the 2020 PBA bubble! Three 6'7 and taller!

Now that the PBA is almost bound to be back, the free-agency was re-opened. Actually, TNT made a move already. Which team will follow soon? Here is a look on the top 10 available players in the market!

#1 Yousef Taha - I still do not understand why Taha remains to be unsigned when it is clear in the last decade that playable 6'6 and taller guys are the most important player archetype in the league. Taha is still the energetic big that will surely be a positive impact on the court. Teams like Alaska, Rain or Shine and Phoenix that do not have a player taller than 6'6 should be scrambling to get him.

#2 Jerramy King - I consider him as one of the hidden gems of the PBA. In his sophomore season, he averaged 14.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.2 steals, 2.0 three-pointers made and 35% 3FG per game. Unfortunately, he got injured and according to the rumors, he asked for a trade, hoping to land with Ginebra. I hope that will not be the end for this 29 years old scoring wizard because he has legit talent.

#3  Sol Mercado - Sol is not a free agent because of his production. Sol can still play and he even embraced being a role-player in Ginebra that he became a capable stopper. Unfortunately, no team wanted to meet his prize. Now that we will just have a short conference and the only title this year, Mercado will be a good addition to have.

#4 Rabeh Al-Hussaini - Was Rabeh a flop #2 pick? If we talk about what he showed in the league, I think he was not. It was more of the controversies and complications that followed him. Rabeh is currently not in the country because he is in Kuwait. He did this already in the past. Although, a 6'7 big who can pass, score and even shoot three-pointer is worth working for.

#5 Ping Exciminiano - Ping is currently the #1 exhibit of the league in their rule of not allowing their players to play in the amateur league. Instead of having a new contract, Ping ended up with nothing after getting injured before signing a contract. Nevertheless, Ping is still considered to be one of the best lockdown defenders in the league. A very important role.

#6 Greg Slaughter - The fact is, he may not be planning to return to the PBA anytime soon after signing with an International Agency. That is also the reason why the best player on this list only came as #6. Nevertheless, it is worth pursuing negotiation with him and with Ginebra for a sign-and-trade deal because he will right away become the biggest player in the league.

#7 Joseph Eriobu - Here is another athletic player that did not find enough opportunity in the PBA. After going into different teams in the PBA, the 28 years old forward signed with Hong Kong Eastern in the ABL last year. Although, they just canceled the season and I still believed that with his athleticism and grit, he could be something in the PBA.

#8 Julian Sargent - Coach Tim Cone gave up a good player in Paolo Taha to get Sargent. Unfortunately, the guy cannot shake out the injury bug. Coach Tim was fascinated with him that he compared him to Gabe Norwood and Matthew Ganuelas-Rosser.

#9 Jeric Teng - Jeric may not end up as the starting-caliber scorer that a lot of people hyped him in the 2013 draft but in the latest season of MPBL, the guy ended up as the #2 scorer in the league, producing 19.6 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 38% FG per game.

#10 Michael Mabulac - One of the undersize energetic bigs that flopped in the PBA. Michael is trying to regain some grounds by performing well in the MPBL. He is averaging 9.7 points, 50% FG, 8.5 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game.
