PBA Free-Agency: Which teams need PJ Simon?

According to the PBA, September 23, 2020, will be the deadline for the twelve teams to submit their final line-ups for the planned PBA bubble.

One guy that is not currently in-line to be written there is PJ Simon and according to coach Chito Victolero on his reply to Tiebreakertimes, he will not be part of the 15-man line-up that they will submit for the Magnolia Hotshots.

Yes. We may have seen the last time that PJ Simon played for the Purefoods franchise.

Now, the interesting thing is, PJ has not announced that he is retiring. In short, he is a legit free-agent that can sign with any other team.

The question is, which team should be interested in getting him?

Brgy. Ginebra San Miguel
The reason is simple, Ginebra needs shooting. Simon has been a consistent three-point shooter all throughout his career. Actually, in the last three years, PJ shot 37% from beyond the arc. There is a good chance that he will right away be the best catch-and-shoot sniper of Ginebra if he decides to make one last interesting move in his career.

Alaska Aces
Magnolia or Ginebra was not the favorite team of PJ when he was growing up. It was Alaska. Alaska is badly in need of a jolt for their fan base. Fulfilling the childhood dream of PJ can accomplish that. Also, it doesn't hurt that Alaska actually needs a scorer like Simon. So, this could be a win-win situation for Alaska and PJ.
