PBA Trade Rumors: Did the "No Trade in the Bubble" rule, derailed the return of Abueva?

Five days ago, the Instagram of Calvin Abueva posted an image with a caption of "Come back is real...". The inclusion of praying-hands emoji were the indications that it was not yet a done deal.

Although, it should be good news for his believers to know that the Beast was part of the 25-man delegation of the Phoenix Fuel Masters.

The teams that will enter the PBA bubble was only allowed to bring-in 25 personnel. That includes every position, from players to ball-boys.

The mind-boggling thing though is the fact that five days had passed but we have not heard anything from the PBA management.

Actually, someone has Tweeted that commissioner Willie Marcial is not yet sure if he will allow the guy or not. An indication that Marcial is not applying any process or rule in what to do with the suspension of Calvin.

That prompted some to say that the no follow-up to the Tweet of Calvin could be connected to the recent announcement of No Trade in the bubble. The final line-up that the 12 teams submitted last September 23, 2020, will really be their final group guys that they can play.

Now, some people are assuming that Calvin's suspension will be lifted after the most powerful group in the PBA agreed to it but in exchange, they will get the product of Pampanga through a trade.

That is not a possibility now and that could be the reason why Calvin is still on the hooks of suspension.
