PBA Controversy: Will the PBA finally let Calvin Abueva play?

The Game and Amusement Board just provided the REAL LEGAL PROCESS in handling a suspension. They told Calvin all their requirements. Calvin finished all of them.

And Calvin's professional license is back. Although, it is still on a probationary basis.

So, now that Calvin is done with GAB, which is basically the body that is regulating the Philippine Basketball Association, will the PBA finally open the door for the comeback of Calvin?

It could boil down to this question. Can the PBA come up again with another reason to keep Calvin on the suspension list?

The manager of Phoenix, Mr. Paolo Bugia, told the Tiebreakertimes that Calvin can now start his appeal for a return to the playing court of the PBA.

The term that was used was "appeal", which indicates to me that Mr. Bugia is aware that Calvin is already done with the requirements provided by the Commissioner.

If he is already fine with the requirements, it will be hard for the PBA to come up with another reason that is related to it.

I think the one possible reason that the suspension of Calvin will be continued is the need for the approval of the PBA board.

The commissioner can delay the lifting of his suspension by simply scheduling a PBA board as late as possible.

Although, I will not be shocked if commissioner Willie Marcial can come up again with another impetus in retaining Abueva away from the playing of the PBA. He did that over and over again in the past.
