PBA Free Agency: How about Slaughter, now that Tenorio and Japeth Aguilar can enter the PBA bubble, anytime ?

If you are still undecided about how powerful Ginebra is in the PBA, this news should make it easier for you.

The PBA board approved a move of scrapping the October 10 deadline for entry to the bubble. After October 10, nobody was supposed to enter anymore. So, players who are still outside will not be able to play.

So, all teams gave their best to comply, with Anthony Semerad of NLEX being the latest guy to arrive in Clark, Pampanga.

The two biggest names that are on track of entering the bubble are LA Tenorio and Japeth Aguilar, both from Ginebra.

According to some sources, Tenorio could be having some health concerns, not related to an injury or COVID-19. On the other hand, Aguilar was reported to be suffering from an injury.

With the scrapping of the deadline, and the confirmed news that Greg is back in the Philippines, can Slaughter also end his sabbatical and be a late addition to Ginebra?

With the current rules, that is not possible because Greg is not part of the 15-man players-roster that the team provided to the league.

But as we have just witnessed, rules in the PBA can always be adjusted.

In short, if the management of Ginebra, specifically Mr. Al Francis Chua, and Greg striked a deal, it could be possible.
