PBA Power Ranking: Top 10 2020 Rookies 2.0 - Alaska or Ginebra, who found the sleeper of the draft?

It seems like our initial rookie power ranking has been blown out as the top guys disappoint and the unknowns ascend.

So, who will be the Rookie of the Year?

Here is my ranking 2.0.

#10 Clint Doliguez (Unranked)
Doliguez was playable in their first several games as his physical attributes and grit help out in fighting against the mature PBA players.

#9 Adrian Wong (#6 Previously)
The easiest prediction now for the 2019 PBA draft is that Wong will end up as its best shooter. Rain or Shine is already running a lot of off-ball screens for him, like how the Miami Heat did for a Duncan Robinson.

#8 Maurice Shaw (#3 Previously)
It seems like Shaw is bound to be one of those huge centers that only played basketball because they are huge. The fact that he was so out-of-shape that he cannot be played is good evidence of that. Nevertheless, his peak form could still be interesting as his size is pretty obvious when he was on the court.

#7 Mike Ayonayon (#10 Previously)
He is a volume scorer. So, his efficiency of 33% FG and 20% 3FG were expected. The question now is, will coach Yeng Guaio continue to give playing time to Mike? Knowing that Kiefer Ravena and Kevin Alas are playing well, Mike's role could shrink.

#6 Aaron Black (#4 Previously)
I was really high on Black and he did not disappoint as he averaged 8.8 points, 2.2 assists, 55% FG and 60% 3FG per game. His shooting from beyond the arc is the most interesting number so far. If he is really a good shooter now, Black may have the chance to be the best player out of the 2019 batch, ten years from now.

#5 Sean Manganti (#5 Previously)
I decided to rank Sean above Black because I think his role is much clearer and stable in Northport, compared to that of Black. Sean averaged 5.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.25 steals plus blocks per game.

#4 Aris Dionisio (#4 Previously)
He is not getting the same hype as Magnolia struggles but he is handling himself pretty well as one of the important bench pieces of Magnolia. His defense was really impressive that I think, Magnolia is not missing Marc Pingris, that much.

#3 Arvin Tolentino (#2 Previously)
Here is an important lesson that we should have learned by now. When coach Tim Cone is high about a rookie, that rookie is really good. Arvin is a good example as he manufactures 6.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.0 three-pointer per game. His efficiency is not yet there but his confidence should give us the assurance that he will be pretty good in the future.

#2 Barkley Ebona (#9 Previously)
There is no doubt that he is the most surprising rookie performer, so far. He is averaging 8.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 72% FG per game. He has very good efficiency because he only takes high-efficient shots. He is a banger and he is looking like the second coming of Vic Manuel.

#1 Roosevelt Adams (#1 Previously)
I am keeping Adams at the top for now because he is still the most productive rookie with his 8.7 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.7 three-pointers made per game. I also do not think that he is a bust. I really believed that he is currently misused as a power forward. He should be a wingman and should have the green light to decide on secondary actions.
