PBA Rumors: Ginebra vs Magnolia will be postponed because of the COVID-19 POSITIVE Result?

The PBA just postponed the game between Blackwater Elite and Rain or Shine Elasto Painters today because one of the players of Elite got a positive result.

Take note though that this will only fall under probable as a 2nd swab test is needed to fully put him as a confirmed case.

The player is said to be asymptomatic and was immediately extracted and isolated. Also, the entire Blackwater Elite team is now under strict isolation.

Although, sources are saying that the league is fearing a possible spread in the bubble as they are now looking to postpone the much-anticipated game between Ginebra and Magnolia.

The fear may have come from the fact that the referee that got a positive result also, which turns out to be negative by the 2nd swab, may have officiated a Blackwater game.

Actually, TNT Tropang Giga was also isolated right away after the Elite player got a positive because they are the last opponent of Blackwater.

Blackwater also played Ginebra last October 15.

This news was on the heels of the lifting of the suspension of Calvin Abueva. The risk now that they will adjust the schedule further is a big possibility.

Tomorrow, the games scheduled are Phoenix versus NLEX and Northport versus TNT.
