PBA Analysis: Is Ginebra destined to be the 2020 PBA Champs?

One of the most memorable opinions of our president, Rodrigo Duterte, is that the presidency is a destiny. That the God above was the one who chose him to be the leader of our country.

In the PBA, after four games in the PBA Finals, it feels like Ginebra is destined to win the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup.

When destiny works for you, things will happen that will push you to the place where you are destined to go. It happened to President Duterte. His popularity in 2014 to 2016 was unexpected. Actually, even in early 2016, people are not yet convinced that he will win the presidency.

The same goes for Ginebra. It starts in the earliest part of the bubble. Ginebra fans were anxious because LA Tenorio and Japeth Aguilar are not yet in the bubble. And then "miracle" happened.

Then, in the semifinals, Meralco forced them to a game 5. Meralco was about to win the series but Scottie Thompson has another idea.

When we reached the finals, Ginebra was gifted an advantage right away when Ray Parks, the best player of TNT, got injured.

And then in game 2, Scottie Thompson did it again.

And in game 4? LA Tenorio's three-pointers suddenly started to fall. Even with the penultimate push of RR Pogoy, it was not enough.

And what may have hurt the most from that game was another injury to a key player for TNT, Jayson Castro.

All those things combined and it is pretty hard to bet against Ginebra at this point.
