PBA Free-Agency: The Top 10 potential UNRESTRICTED 2021 Free Agents!

Next year, the most awaited unrestricted free-agency is coming. The first batch will be the 2014 PBA draft. All the players that finished seven years of playing contract from that draft will be eligible to sign with any team that they want, as long as they do not have any on-going contracts.

So, who will be available at the end of 2021?

First things first, let me just say that it was hard to check the current contract status of the players. PBA is not that transparent about it and not all contract extensions were reported by the news site. One guy that we are sure will be under contract beyond 2021 is Kevin Alas of NLEX. So, we did not consider him.

#8 to #10  Kyle Pascual / Raul Soyud / Jake Pascual
These three players proved that they are legit PBA players and knowing the importance of having legit PBA bigman, I expect them to get a good amount of interest if they hit unrestricted free agency (UFA).

#7 Rome Dela Rosa
Easily one of the best defenders in the league. He is slowly improving his offense to catch up with his defense. With the arrival of Aris Dionisio and Jackson Corpuz, there is a higher chance now that Dela Rosa will be playing for another team by 2022.

#6 Rodney Brondial
Brondial is a level higher than that of the Pascuals and Soyud. He is really versatile on both ends and he showed this year that he can now connect from beyond the arc.

#5 Anthony Semerad
For me, Semerad is a much better overall defender than Dela Rosa. He is capable of defending centers, which is crucial in this era of the PBA. Semerad averaged 6.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 39% FG per game this year.

#4 Chris Banchero
Out of the top 4, Banchero seems to be the guy that will most likely move to another team because of how loaded the guard position of Magnolia. Unfortunately for him, the rumors in the past may have painted him as a player that values financial matters very high. Next to Barroca

#3 Prince Caperal
Believe it or not, Caperal is in the same draft class as Pringle. He finally blossomed this year with the absence of Greg Slaughter. He is a very capable three-point shooter. And knowing that three-point shooting is very important now. There is a good chance that a lot of teams will be interested in him. 46%, 1.7 makes

#2 Matthew Ganuelas-Rosser
MGR did not join the PBA bubble and I think, the Beermen felt his absence. MGR is arguably the most flexible player in the league. His defense is topnotch and he protects the rim very well. In short, he is one of the best glue-guy in the league.

#1 Stanley Pringle
This is easy. Pringle was the #1 pick of the 2014 draft and arguably a top 3 player in the PBA. I doubt that he will ever think of leaving Ginebra. Unless he values being the unquestionable alpha, that much.
