2021 PBA Draft News! A 6'5 Point Guard declares for the draft!

Finally, two of the most intriguing Filipino-Foreigners are joining the PBA draft! The current skill level of these two players will arguably be at the top of this draft!

TAYLOR STATHAM

Let us first talk about Taylor Statham! He was last seen playing in the 3x3 circle and the guy was on par with Joshua Munzon and Alvin Pasaol.

Statham is a very unique player because his ball-handling is very good that he can run the point guard position if needed.

In the 2018 TBSL season, he averaged 28.6 points, 12.3 rebounds, 6.5 assists and 2 steals per game. His shooting is suspect but the fact that he is a 6'5 point guard makes him a very intriguing choice.
Potential Range: Middle of the 1st round

MIKEY WILLIAMS
There is no denying that Filipinos are still attracted to the Terrence Romeo-Stanley Pringle types. Williams could follow the same path as his playing style easily mirrors those of Terrence and Stanley.

Mikey was a legit NCAA Division 1 player, who ended up averaging 17.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 36% 3FG per game in his senior year.

His pull-up shooting is really deadly. Knowing that the level of competition in NCAA Division 1 could be higher than in the PBA, Williams may actually be a much better pull-up shooter than Romeo or Pringle.
Potential Range: Bottom of the 1st round
