PBA Controversy: Should Terrafirma Dyip leave the PBA? How about coach Austria?

According to the governor of the Terrafirma Dyip, they are doing the CJ Perez trade as one of their steps to start winning and gain respect.

Is the governor an idiot in running a ball club or just a well-paid spokesperson who will be the recipient of all the blame?

First, the franchise is not getting any respect by doing this trade. Actually, a lot of fans are already belittling and are thrashing your franchise for doing this trade.

For him to continue to push through with it is just an indication that he is not really doing it for respect.

Second, in what league did they see that trading a superstar for playable players will give them winning? Is it not pretty obvious that the way to win in a basketball league is to get as much star as possible?

On the other hand, Austria defended the trade by saying that they are already trading an entire unit to Terrafirma.

So what?

Is the unit of Escoto-MGR-Alolino-#8 pick- veteran player winning against any five of the other team? How can a coach of the year multiple time winner can try to deceive the PBA universe that the current trade structure is fair?

Wait. Maybe because he is badly in need. Because in the PBA bubble, without a Fajardo and Romeo, but still having a top 4 roster in his hand, he failed to reach the semis.

It seems like his only path to dominance is to overcome any team with so much talent and yet he is also defending the trade that it is fair even though he is grabbing the most talented guy of the other team.
