PBA Trade Rumors: Ginebra will be the final home of Joshua Munzon

Do not expect the Dyip franchise to ever stop with their garbage transactions in the PBA in the next few years.

According to Snow Badua, Terrafirma is all set in drafting Joshua Munzon. The #1 3X3 player in our country has one of the best arguments for being the top player in this upcoming very deep draft.

Just like CJ Perez though, do not expect them to build around him. Expect that they will again rehash the same reasons that they are telling us right now.

Now, Snow said that Ginebra will be the team that will harvest Munzon from Terrafirma.

Knowing that we have a  rule that #1 pick cannot be traded in his first season, Munzon's earliest potential arrival in Ginebra is 2022.

By that year, Jeff Chan, Jared Dillinger and even Stanley Pringle will have slow down due to father time. Thus, Munzon could play a big part in sustaining the success of the franchise.

I just wonder what the reaction of the management of the Dyip franchise if they hear about this. I am pretty sure they will deny this. And then eat their words once San Miguel Corporation demands Munzon.

At the very least, the mere existence of the Dyip franchise is looking like a disease for the PBA. Together with Blackwater and Northport, they have eroded the credibility of the league.

So, I wonder the silence of the PBA management and even the SBP about them.

If they think the PBA can continue to exist by letting these types of franchises live, they could be in for a big surprise in a few years.

Fans are getting wiser. They want a more credible product.
