What if coach Tim Cone's desire for a return by Greg Slaughter will not be answered, positively? How about getting a guy that coach Tim Cone actually loves, too? Coach Tim has a lot of praise for Vic Manuel in the past. It seems like, he likes the brand of basketball that Vic brings into the court. A frontcourt of Manuel and Aguilar will be very interesting because both are not capable of hitting three-pointers.
Meralco
According to coach Norman Black, his team needs talent. Here is the answer to that. Vic Manuel will be an instant upgrade for their power forward position. I also think that a frontline of Almazan and Vic Manuel will be a good one because, on both ends, they complement each other. Defensively, Raymond can focus on his rim protection duties because Manuel will be capable of banging with the giants.
Magnolia
Another team that is looking for fresher blood in their frontline. With father time almost about to win against Reavis and Pingris, there could be a hole in the frontline of Magnolia, soon. Manuel could easily fill that up. Although, his fit with Sangalang may not be that ideal.
