PBA Analysis: 2021 Top Breakout Candidate of each team!

As we eagerly await some trades and the upcoming PBA draft, let me give first the potential breakout player of each team.

Who are the players that could be erupting for way better numbers this year?

Terrafirma - Roosevelt Adams
Even though Perez was traded. If Joshua Munzon will be the choice of Terrafirma, we expect him to take over CJ's role. But Adams was underwhelming last year. So, it is almost a sure thing that we will see a much better Adams.

Northport - Robert Bolick
This will be the 2nd season of Robert in the PBA and I am pretty sure he will improve his 13.5 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game stats in 2019.

Blackwater - Maurice Shaw
Shaw was unplayable in the PBA bubble. Knowing his age, this season could be the last opportunity for Shaw. With his size and strength, I still think that Shaw will be a capable player in the PBA.

NLEX - Mike Ayonayon
The surprised #3 pick of the 2019 PBA draft could be getting more opportunities this 2021 and  I expect Mike to do good with it. I am not saying that he will be as good as Kiefer but he will put up good numbers.

Rain or Shine - Javee Mocon
We all know that Mocon is already one of the three most important players in Rain or Shine. His numbers though are still pretty low. Last year, he averaged 12.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.2 blocks per game. With a much bigger role on offense, I expect Javee to be better.

Magnolia - Aris Dionisio
I will not be shocked if you expected Jio for Magnolia but the reality is, the guard rotation is very deep for him to get consistent opportunities. The forward/bigs rotation though is another story and with what he showed last year, I expect Aris to get more playing time and produce more.

Alaska  - Abu Tratter
I am loving the consistent improvement in the game of Abu. He averaged 10.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and 54.4% FG per game. Abu can still improve in a lot of areas in his game and past improvements tell us that Abu will do that.

San Miguel - Von Pessumal
San Miguel made sure that Von will not be part of the trade for CJ Perez because they understand the value of his three-point shooting. With that, it is easy to project that he will get more opportunities next season.

Meralco - Mac Belo
Belo was supposed to be a much better prospect than RR Pogoy, Matthew Wright and all his compatriots in the 2016 PBA draft. Now that he is with a much serious team. Can Belo finally embrace his potential?

Phoenix - Matthew Wright
How can Matthew even break out more if he is already a top 3 scorer in the league? Easy. I am expecting him to produced MVP-level numbers that can challenge the grip of the Kraken in the MVP plum.

TNT - JP Erram
Coach Chot Reyes will surely recreate a modern version of his drive and kick offense and Erram could be a vital part of that. His improvement could be on his points or the other part of his boxscore.

Ginebra - Greg Slaughter
If Greg remains with Ginebra, I expect coach Tim Cone to showcase him. This is to prove that Greg is a deserving member of the team and that he should be forgiven by the fans. Greg also showed on his social media accounts that he worked on his game during his sabbatical. I expect to see those improvements this year.
