PBA Draft Analysis: Can the Ginebra rookies find playing time?

Every time the PBA draft happens, PBA fans salivate about the rookies that their favorite team chose. They are very excited about the potential performance of the newbies.

Usually, fans forget that for these rookies to play in the PBA, they need to steal minutes from the veteran. Can Brian Enriquez and Ken Holmqvist get some?

Let us first check the playing time of the Ginebra players in the last PBA bubble.

Thompson - 36.5
Pringle - 36.1
Tenorio - 31.2
Aguilar - 29.8
Mariano - 26.0
Caperal - 21.1
Dillinger - 16.1
Tolentino - 15.3
Chan - 14.4
Devance - 13.6
Balanza - 3.9

Take note that Christian Standhardinger will be there too. Let us say, Standhardinger will get 15 minutes from Caperal, 5 minutes from Tolentino and a combined 10 minutes from Thompson, Pringle and Tenorio.

For Holmqvist, it is quite hard to see him get any minutes because Caperal is even down to 6.1 minutes. Unless there is an injury, do not expect Holmqvist to get minutes.

On the other hand, Enriquez may have a much bigger chance of getting minutes. It can come from the veteran duo of Chan and Devance. Especially with Enriquez being praised as a potential 3-and-D player of coach Tim Cone.
