PBA Free-Agency: The Top 10 Potential Free Agents this offseason!

With the arrival of a very deep PBA draft and the conclusion of the MPBL, the PBA may have some interesting potential options in the free-agency market.

#10 John Yasa
He was the 10th pick of the 3rd round by the Meralco Bolts. Meralco though, already have 17 players in the line-up and they may end up letting go of Yasa. Yasa is a superb athlete with a good knock in blocking shoots and with a sweet-shooting motion.

#9 Seraj Elmejrab
He ended up in the 6th round by Northport and that means there is a very good chance that he will not be draft. So, a 6'8 center could be available for any team to take a shot on.

#8 Dhon Reverente
Reverente ended up as the #1 pick of the 3rd round by Terrafirma. But with Terrafirma 18 players under contract, Dhon may end up being cut. He is a rebounding demon who ended up as a Mythical 2nd team in the MPBL.

#7 Mark Olayon
The last pick of the 2nd round may end up being cut because of the depth of the Batang Pier. Olayon is a  very interesting player because he is a strong 6'4 with the ability to create plays for others.

#6 Roi Sumang
The rumor now is, NLEX may end up sending Roi to the free-agency. Any team who is in need of a superb scorer off-the-bench, Roi should be considered.

#5 Loren Brill
Again, a draftee by the Northport Batang Pier, that already has seventeen players under contract. A lot of teams praised Brill during the workout season and I was also impressed with his shooting and bravado for the point guard position.

#4 Maurice Shaw
Shaw is a bust for a #2 pick but nobody can teach height of 6'8. Any team who are in need of a 6'8 body could try Shaw if NLEX will really let him go.

#3 John Wilson
Wilson was the MVP of the 2020 season of MPBL with his statline of 19.3 points, 42% FG, 38% 3FG, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.4 steals per game. Even at 34, Wilson still looks like a credible bench scorer who can defend a lot of positions.

#2 Mark Yee
The energy and the multitude of skills that Yee can add to any PBA team propel him higher on my ranking than Wilson. Yee doesn't need the ball to have a positive impact on his team. His defense and rebounding alone make him a worth-it addition.

#1 Kelly Nabong
If you cannot handle him, you should not sign him. But if you can, you will be adding a 6'6, who can defend the giants of the league and with a good volume three-point shooter.

And it was just announced that he is officially a free agent!
