PBA Power Ranking: The five coaches with the hottest seats!

Remember that players are not the only ones that a team can replace or exchange for something. They can also do that for coaches.

With that, here are the five coaches that I think are seating on the hottest seats!

#5 Coach Norman Black
Meralco has been having deeper playoff runs than expected in the recent conferences. The question is, is that already the ceiling of this Meralco team?

If the top executives of the MVP group feel differently. Then, coach Norman Black may end up being sacrificed to try a new brand of coaching.

#4 coach John Cardel
After ending up as the worst team for two seasons, coach Cardel is deserving to be the #1 on this list. But, what if that is actually his job?

Kidding aside. If coach Cardel survived the last two years, it is hard to see him being chopped because of the very low expectations.

#3 coach Yeng Guiao
This is not really about the performance of coach Yeng. Although, NLEX has been the worst MVP team in the last few years.

This is more about the possibility that management conflicts may force the executives of the MVP group to let go of coach Yeng.

#2 coach Leo Austria
With a much stronger line-up, coach Leo's excuses could be much limited this year. The reality is, even if Fajardo is not 100%, SMB still has the line-up to reach the Fnals. If they fail to do so, I will not be surprised if the management finally looks at coach Leo as a primary culprit.

#1 coach Pido Jarencio
Coach Pido Jarencio took the hardest role last week. He defended the Greg Slaughter-Christian Standhardinger swap.

He told the media that he believed in Greg Slaughter and that he is as good as Standhardinger. Then, if Greg fails to deliver, someone should get the axed.
