PBA Trade Rumors: Ginebra, SMB or Magnolia; Munzon' destination is?

Joshua Munzon is assured to play one season with Terrafirma Dyip because of the rule that #1 pick are not tradeable in their first year.

Yes. Jamie Malonzo is already available for one of the three SMC teams, Magnolia, Ginebra or San Miguel.

And a year from now, Munzon will also become available.

So, which San Miguel Corp. team should target Munzon?

#3 Magnolia Hotshots
Munzon will play the forward/wing position. Magnolia is already loaded on these spots with Calvin Abueva, Paul Lee and Jackson Corpuz. Unless Magnolia will make a massive change out of these three, I do not think Magnolia should be the priority for Munzon.

#2 Brgy. Ginebra San Miguel
Ginebra does not have an elite forward. They do have a capable one in Aljon Mariano, and a budding star in Arvin Tolentino. Some minutes in the SF position are also given to Stanley Pringle and Scottie Thompson.

Also, I do not think coach Tim Cone is a big fan of having multiple heavy usage players. He already have Standhardinger and Pringle.

#1 San Miguel Beermen
In reality, San Miguel may have the best package that can manipulate the heads of the PBA fans. I think, one of Alex Cabagnot, Chris Ross, Marcio Lassiter and Arwind Santos will suffice as the main piece in the package.

Looking at the age of the core of SMB, three years from now only Terrence Romeo, CJ Perez, Fajardo and Tautuaa are viable elite players.

So, they badly need a forward like Munzon. Unlike coach Tim Cone, coach Leo Austria is happy to get as many scorers, possible.
