PBA Trade Rumors: Is Bobby Ray Parks forcing a trade to Ginebra?

After a shocking Standhardinger for Slaughter swap. After an out of PBA Universe's imagination Calvin Abueva to Magnolia trade.

Then we saw Vic Manuel found a new home with Phoenix. And finally, a retiree in Kelly Williams returns to the court.

We have another shocker.

Ray Parks posted on his Instagram that he will not play this season. He pointed out that the reason was a family matter.

But the immediate reaction of the PBA universe is, Ray Parks is trying to push for a trade. And knowing that Parks has not signed a new contract with TNT, it seems like this speculation has some legs.

On the other hand, TNT fans should at least be comforted when Ray said that he will come back and help bring a championship to TNT.

It shows his commitment remains there. Although, him not signing a contract is saying another thing.

If you are asking which team could be his target to play for. There was already a buzz in the past that he wants to play for Ginebra. He was vocal in the past about his fascination with Stanley Pringle and Justin Brownlee.

Now, if he is telling the truth, I wonder what could be that family issue that will dissuade him from playing this year?

Is it related to COVID-19? Maybe. Actually, this is the only acceptable reason that I can think at this point.
