PBA Trade Rumors: Should Ginebra trade for Andre Paras in the future?

Coach Tim Cone confirmed to the media that they were interested in drafting Andre Paras in the 2020 PBA draft.

He was impressed with the rebounding of Andre Paras. But, they decided that grabbing a 6'8 with good skills in Ken Holmqvist will fit better with their current team.

Coach Tim would go on to describe Ken as a Joe Devance-type of player. Not the flashiest but someone who always makes the right decision.

According to coach Tim, he is a big fan of rebounding. He believes that it is a skill that it is harder to groom and more natural.

Even though they did not draft him, that doesn't mean that they cannot trade for him in the future.

The question now is, should they do it in the future?

Blackwater Bossing seems to be very happy that Paras fell into their laps. It seems like they have big plans for the guy.

If that is the case, I actually expect that we will know if Andre can be a star in the PBA or just another "actor" who can play.

If he can be a star, I will not be shocked if Ginebra will try to trade for him because hard-working rebounder like him is always at home with Ginebra.
