PBA Analysis: You should support Phoenix Super LPG this 2021 season!

I think most of my readers here are Barangay Ginebra San Miguel supporters. While, several are fans of San Miguel, Magnolia, TNT, Alaska and Rain or Shine.

Then, maybe I also have a handful of Meralco, NLEX and Northport believers.

Just in case you still have space for one more team to support in the upcoming season, may I present to you, Phoenix.

Yes, the team that is bannered by Matthew Wright, Vic Manuel, Jason Perkins, Justin Chua and Chris Banchero.

Why?

The first reason is that they will continue to play the most modern brand of basketball in the league. They will continue to shoot as many three-pointers and they will develop all of their players to be capable of doing that.

Yes, it includes Manuel and their 2020 1st round pick, Larry Muyang.

The second reason is for the sake of parity. Some fans accused Phoenix to be a farm team at the inception of their franchise.

We just saw them find the best way to replace a Calvin Abueva.

Now, they have proven their seriousness in winning a championship. Adding another serious contender to the list will help the parity of the league.
