PBA Controversy: Did Ramon S. Ang admitted how ONE-SIDED their trades are?

What is fun about interviews of the top people and players in the PBA, is that we can actually decipher truths into what is happening in the league.

One example will be this statement by sir Ramon S. Ang, big boss of SMC, in an interview with Summit Media editor.

It was about Terrence Romeo who was traded to the Beermen in exchange for Brian Heruela, David Semerad and a 2021 1st.

Sir Ramon said, "naalala mo nung tinrade ‘yan for a SIM card, ibig sabihin,  we don’t like you. Impossible to handle this guy. Pero sa atin, napansin mo ba, ang bait niya."

Yes, that was also a slight against the MVP group but my focus was his opinion of using a Sim card to describe the trade package that they gave for Romeo.

I received that as a disparaging remark. I mean, he saw the Heruela, Semerad and a 2021 1st package as low value.

Which, I totally agree with. For a Terrence Romeo, a capable starting guard, an injury-prone role player forward and a late 1st, should not be enough.

Now, my question is, is that package better than the Kevin Ferrer, Jervy Cruz and Sol Mercado that Northport got for Stanley Pringle?

You get the point now?
