PBA Free Agency: Alaska or Phoenix, which one needs this center?

According to a report, Phoenix Super LPG is trying out two free agents in Michael Calisaan and Bryan Faundo.

Calisaan was a 1st round pick of Magnolia and was let go to the free agency market this season. He was a former player of coach Topex, so it has a good chance of getting in.

Bryan, on the other hand, was a long-time role player of Meralco Bolts. Actually, according to a source, Phoenix is not the only team, interested.

Alaska also is trying him out.

Phoenix is already pretty deep in their frontline with Justin Chua, Vic Manuel, Jason Perkins and Larry Muyang. Adding Faundo could mean more minutes in the small forward position for Perkins.

I actually like that for Phoenix because Perkins at small forward brings a different window to the offense of Phoenix.

On the other hand, Alaska is also pretty set with its frontline. They have the young trio of Abu Tratter, Ben Adamos and Barkley Ebona. What Faundo will bring is a solid midrange game and sound defense.

Between the two, which one will benefit more from adding Faundo?

Alaska will be my pick because they badly need someone in their frontline who can provide consistent spacing and Faundo's consistent midrange can do that.

Although, I am also interested to see Faundo under coach Topex Robinson.
