PBA Trade Rumors: Ginebra is not trading for Kiefer Ravena

If you think Christian Standhardinger is the only big name that Barangay Ginebra San Miguel is trading for, you are wrong, according to this Facebook page, Basketbol ng Pilipinas.

The website posted that the most popular team in the country is interested to trade for Kiefer Ravena of NLEX.

Of course, that is not true. Although, let me say that it is logical for Ginebra to want him because LA Tenorio is nearing his retirement.

Ravena will be a great fit for Ginebra because he shoots pretty well from beyond the arc and he is an excellent playmaker. There is a reason why he was the anointed heir apparent of Jayson Castro for our national team.

But, this rumor was only created because coach Tim Cone said that Kiefer Ravena is one of the players that he wishes to have a chance to coach.

Together with Ravena, coach Tim named Alvin Patrimonio, Vergel Meneses and of course, June Mar Fajardo.

The reality is, Kiefer will not leave the camp of the MVP group, anytime soon. The MVP group has been an excellent home for Ravena.

Actually, not Kiefer alone but his entire family. His dad, Bong Ravena, was even placed as the de facto head coach in the tenure of coach Mark Dickel!

So, sorry Ginebra fans.
