PBA Trade Rumors: Ginebra is still the likeliest destination of Ray Parks?

Ray Parks is still a Restricted Free Agent and we have not heard any new development with his situation with TNT.

What we have been hearing and reading is a plethora of trade rumors. The new one right now is that Northport told TNT that Greg Slaughter and Robert Bolick are off-the-table in exchange for Parks.

It is pretty understandable why that is the case. Slaughter is the biggest player in the PBA and Robert is a young future star.

Now, that rumor is quite funny because even if Slaughter and Bolick are not available, Northport can still come up with a good package for Parks.

I mean, Sean Anthony, Kevin Ferrer, Jamie Malonzo, Troy Rike and Sean Manganti are players with high trade value.

Like, if TNT can get two of Anthony, Ferrer, Malonzo and Rike, is that not good enough? Like, Kevin Ferrer and Malonzo will surely improve the team of TNT.

The reality is, if Northport trade for Parks, it may just be to assess him if he will not be poison for one of the three SMC teams.

Between the three SMC teams, all of them will be happy to have a Parks because there is a good argument that Ray is one of the top 5 three-point shooters in the league.

He is also one of the most versatile defenders.
