2021 PBA Draft: Should Dwight Ramos join the PBA draft?

There is no doubt in my mind that Matthew Wright was the best player in the Philippines in the just concluded FIBA Qualifying Tournament that happened here in Pampanga.

Wright started the tournament with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 block against Korea. He then contributed 10 points, 12 rebounds and 3 steals against Indonesia.

And capped his tournament with 19 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists, 5/9 3FG and 2 steals against Korea. He was our fireman during this game. He delivered shots when we needed it and he was consistent on defense, all throughout the game.

Now, that has made a lot of PBA fans craved for their favorite PBA team to get him. That is even with the reality that he is still eligible for at least one UAAP season and he just signed with the Ateneo Blue Eagles.

So, overall, I think, the earliest draft that he will participate in, will be the 2023.

So, is Matthew PBA ready?

The answer is clearly a yes but should he join the PBA?

If the PBA will not change their ways, I would rather see him try on International Leagues because his talent level is so high that he is more than capable of becoming a very good International player.

I will not be shock if he can be a credible European basketball league guard.
