PBA Trade Rumors: Is TNT trading Rosario to Blackwater?

A plethora of trade rumors are currently circulating in social media, both Facebook and Twitter. The two most popular characters are Jio Jalalon and Beau Belga.

One guy that is also being used on different rumors in the past few months is Troy Rosario. We heard early this year that TNT is willing to let him go.

The most recent one was posted by a Twitter user, PBA on the Go. According to his tweet, Blackwater is giving up Baser Amer, Carl Bryan Cruz and Richard Escoto for Troy Rosario, Ping Exciminiano and a pick.

This is quite hard to believe. So, TNT will give up their second most important bigman to get an injury-prone and unproven big in Escoto and CBC and a point guard?

Baser Amer is a capable starter in the league but I do not think TNT needs a starting-caliber point guard. They already have Mikey Williams and Jayson Castro there. RR Pogoy can also run plays. Even Ryan Reyes can do it. Unless they are planning to trade Mikey already?

Yes, it is not logical to do that.

We also see in the history of TNT that they are more about improving their talent ceiling. And trading Troy is not in consonance with that.

Unless the management was affected much by the bad performance of Troy in the PBA bubble.

Nevertheless, it is hard to see TNT losing trade to Blackwater.
