PBA Trade Rumors: San Miguel or Magnolia, who needs a giant more?

One of the biggest question marks for the upcoming season is the health of June Mar Fajardo. If Fajardo is healthy, San Miguel Beermen is the most talented team in the league.

What if, he is not?

According to a Tweet, the plan of the SMC boss is to trade Greg Slaughter to Beermen and Moala Tautuaa will go to Northport if Fajardo is not healthy.

If Fajardo is healthy, Slaughter could be heading for Magnolia Hotshots. Is that trade rumor logical?

I think, the answer is yes. There is a very good chance that Slaughter will not be with Northport for more than a year. If that is the case, he could be going to either SMB or Magnolia.

Between San Miguel and Magnolia, the Hotshots need him more. I mean, Raffi Reavis will surely retire soon. That means, Magnolia badly needs another high-quality center.

A trio of Greg Slaughter-Ian Sangalang-Calvin Abueva could be the most traditional frontline out there but I also see it as the best traditional frontline that anyone can assemble at this point.

On the other hand, a Greg Slaughter-Fajardo team-up will be a must-watch. The Beermen will always have the biggest frontline on the court. And knowing coach Leo Austria, he will milk that to the ground.

So, where will Greg go?
