PBA Trade Rumors: San Miguel is getting the #2 pick of the 2020 PBA draft?

It seems like the San Miguel Corporation teams are not done making moves. After Magnolia acquired Russell Escoto, another source hinted that SMB will make a much bigger move soon.

According to PBA Insider of Twitter, a high-flying Fil-Am rookie will soon be transferred to this company's flagship team.

The source used the "beer" emoji, indicating that San Miguel will be the recipient.

How did we conclude that he is pointing to Jamie Malonzo? It is because Snow Badua also provided the same rumor last week.

The combination of the two sources strengthens the possibility that this trade is true and is now being negotiated.

In his debut game in the PBA, Malonzo delivered 9 points, 9 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal, with 25% shooting in the court.

It was a very bad showing but at the very least, it was pretty obvious that Malonzo is the most athletic guy during that game against Meralco.

Malonzo then is a magnificent fit to San Miguel as they badly need a guy to fill up their forward position. Malonzo will also be a good running mate for the athletic and shifty young guard duo of San Miguel, Perez and Romeo.

Overall though, we are still hoping that Northport will finally stop being a farm team.
