PBA Analysis: Is Magnolia's coach Chito Victolero the best coach in the league, right now?

I am wrong? The answer should be coach Tim Cone, right?

Think about it though, is coach Tim Cone really winning now because of his greatness as a coach or it is more about having a top 2 roster for his entire stint in Ginebra?

Truth be told, coach Tim Cone is still the Greatest Coach of All Time. But, just because he is the GOAT in PBA coaching, he is already, by default, the best coach today.

And if we, in a way, deduct some credence to the success of coach Tim Cone in the past few years because of how strong his line-up is, I think the guy who should be entitled as the best coach today is coach Chito Victolero of Magnolia.

The reality is, he is leading now a team to a 4-0 card who has two clear weaknesses. It is as clear as day that Magnolia is thin in their frontline size and depth.

It is also pretty obvious that they lack three-point shooting. So, teams can actually concentrate in crowding the paint.

Magnolia averaged less than six three-pointers made per game in their first three games. Those numbers are reserved for bad teams.

But Magnolia managed to overcome those two weaknesses because of an effective offensive scheme and a superb defensive system.

Again, coach Tim Cone is the GOAT but if we consider everything, I think coach Chito could be the best, right now.
