PBA Trade Rumors: Is San Miguel targeting a Magnolia forward?

Magnolia and San Miguel are the two teams that are popular parts of different trade rumors. For Magnolia, it all started with Jio Jalalon having an issue with his wife. And then of course, he did something bad again.

For San Miguel, it is all about coach Leo Austria stating last year that they want young players. They got CJ Perez from Terrafirma. Who is next?

PBA on the go floated another name that San Miguel can target and he is a player of coach Chito Victolero.

I am talking about Rome Dela Rosa. According to PBA on the go, "Napa-wow si coach Leo Austria sa improvement ng 3point shooting ni Rome Dela Rosa."

I actually think that Rome Dela Rosa is a perfect player for San Miguel. Especially if his current 100% efficiency from beyond the arc is an indication that he is not, at the very least, an average three-point shooter.

Rome is a 3-and-D player and is slowly creeping up the ranking of that archetype of player. He has been consistent in showing up better skills every year.

Rome is perfect for San Miguel because he will impact the game without needing the ball. He is an excellent defender. Coach Leo can used him as a lockdown guy for different positions.

And then on offense, his three-point shooting will provide space for his super talented teammates. Like, which one will benefit San Miguel more, Rome or Chris Ross?
