PBA Trade Rumors: Magnolia is willing to trade a lot of 1st round picks for!

Magnolia has been part of a lot of trade rumors in the past few months. I am willing to bet that this is easily the most outrageous.

This trade rumor will surely make the majority of the Magnolia fans, angry. This kind of trade could be the first of its kind if it happens via a miracle.

So, according to PBA on the Go of Twitter, Magnolia is so enamored about James Laput and Roosevelt Adams that they are willing to trade five to six-round picks!

Yes, this is obviously a fan-made rumor.

Nevertheless, let us point out the reason why this is not going to happen and that there is a very good chance that no negotiation currently in line with the above package, is happening.

First, we just saw CJ Perez went to San Miguel for a package of two 1st round picks and some veteran players.

And the value of a CJ Perez easily surpasses that of James Laput and Roosevelt Adams, combined. Add the fact that Terrafirma is a farm team of San Miguel Corporation and it is pretty easy to decipher that there is no reason for Magnolia to pay that much.

Also, historically I cannot remember five to six first-round picks being given as a package. Especially not for two young unproven players.

I will be really shocked if Magnolia end up giving three first round picks for those two young players.
