PBA Trade Rumors: TNT is willing to trade Jayson Castro?

PBA on the Go continues to post-trade rumors. One of the most recent ones involved a face-of-the-franchise. Of course, I am talking about Jayson Castro of TNT.

According to the post, TNT is willing to trade Jayson for the upcoming 1st round pick of Blackwater, Baser Amer and Paul Desiderio.

What do you think, is it realistic?

History tells us that TNT can trade franchise players. They did that with Ranidel de Ocampo and of course, Jimmy Alapag.

So, I will not be shocked if Castro is also being dangled by TNT in trade discussions. Also, the rumors about the veterans of TNT being the main source of the recent disputes inside the team are alive and potentially true.

Castro though is also a good chance for TNT to prove that they can keep their legends happy and can retire them within the team.

Also, Desiderio and Amer are not playing well in the ongoing tournament. Amer produced 4.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 17.1% FG per game.

Yes, he was shooting 17.1% per game! Yes, that is atrocious!

Knowing their craving for a title, making this trade during the tournament will be deadly for their chances of winning the crown.

Thus, I do not believe this one.
