According to PBA on the Go, there are three contenders right now who are eyeing to grab Simon Enciso from the Blackwater Elite.
Knowing the connection of Blackwater to the MVP group, MVP teams are suspects. Although, TNT is actually the one that traded him to Blackwater. So, they may not be an option. Meralco, on the other hand, is not really in need of another average wingman as they already have a lot to cover that position.
So, who are the potential three teams that may want him?
BRGY. GINEBRA SAN MIGUEL
The #1 skill of Enciso is his ability to hit pull-up jumpers from anywhere. Simon is a magnificent scorer, capable of erupting for more than 30 points in a game. Thus, Ginebra may want to have him. He is already acclimated to being a role player after playing with TNT and he did his role, well.
ALASKA ACES
The same story with Ginebra but the need could be much bigger because Enciso can easily become a top 3 creator for the Aces.
Although, he was already an ex-member of the Aces. As long as there was no ill-will when the trade happened, a return is a possibility.
RAIN OR SHINE
The last contender that may want to have a player like Enciso is Rain or Shine. They have a deep line-up but it is lacking with a consistent pull-up shooter like Simon.
