PBA Analysis: Is Tiongsanity, real?

Remember Jeremy Lin? He was the Asian guard that made a historic run under the banner of New York Knicks.

It was so remarkable that they called it Linsanity. The fanfare was out of this world because New York Knicks was recognized as one of the two biggest basketball franchises in the entire world and that run of Lin was a bright spot during a very dark time for the franchise.

Now, there is a PBA guard that could be having his own historic run in Juami Tiongson of Terrafirma Dyip.

PBA fans recognized him as he led Terrafirma in a back-to-back upset against the two most loaded squad in the league, Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and San Miguel Beermen.

Juami went for a total of 59 points, 13 assists, 6 rebounds, 6 steals, 13/24 from beyond the arc and 20/42 from the field.

Yes. Juami's main weapon is his three-point shooting. Unbelievers will say that he was just getting lucky but for him to shoot that well against teams with proven lockdown guard defenders, is still an amazing accomplishment.

I actually love his form and his ability to move really well off-the-ball. He can easily become the Stephen Curry of the PBA, if he keeps it up.

The question is, can he?
