PBA Power Ranking: The Top 10 Sophomores of Philippine Cup!

Let us look back at the 2019 PBA draft by providing our current top 10 players from that batch in this ongoing tournament.

#10 Clint Dolinguez
He was recently traded by Rain or Shine to Northport and currently, it is not resulting for more opportunity.

#9 Barkley Ebona
The sudden eruption of Yousef Taha may have eaten a lot of the minutes from Barkley. Will he find a way to grab more moving forward?

#8 Arvin Tolentino
Same case as Ebona, the arrival of a big name in Christian Standhardinger could be hampering the development and opportunity of Tolentino.

#7 Richard Escoto
Richard is finally being given minutes in Blackwater and he is showing up to be a legit undersize stretch power forward.

#6 Jerrick Balanza
Balanza benefitted a lot by going to the team of his college coach as he was provided with playing time and currently averaging 5.7 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 43% FG per game.

#5 Adrian Wong
Actually, the number of Wong is not that tantalizing but he is really effective in his role as a floor spacer.

#4 Aaron Black
He was undoubtedly the best rookie last year. This year, his numbers are down to 6.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 32% FG per game.

#3 Kib Montalbo
Easily the most surprising sophomore as he found a role in the loaded backcourt of TNT and he is thriving!

#2 Aris Dionisio
You can call me the biggest fan of Aris as I truly see his defense a very special thing. With more minutes, I expect his numbers to be better.

#1 Roosevelt Adams
Adams was a disappointment in his rookie season but in this 2nd year, Adams is playing much better. Although, he can still make it better.
