Kudos to the Philippine Basketball Association for coming up with a very enjoyable tournament despite the pandemic!
We are now down to the Magnolia Hotshots and the TNT Tropang Giga. Magnolia has been in the Philippine Cup finals for three of the last four editions. While TNT is gunning to do something big as they try to complete a sweep of the San Miguel Corporation teams this 2021 playoffs.
So, which team will win the crown?

I think it is not a coincidence that the two teams who survived the semifinals are also top 2 in terms of defending three-point shots.
Knowing that Magnolia ended up as the most efficient three-point shooting team in the elimination round, it should be an important key for TNT to stop them.
I do not have doubts about the core five of the two finalists. So, I am more interested in seeing how the supporting cast of the two teams will perform.
Lastly, Calvin Abueva has been the most consistent Magnolia player this year. Can TNT derail that consistently and make Magnolia miss the impact of the Beast?
PREDICTION
I expect an entertaining final. Both teams should be really driven into claiming this crown. In terms of three-point shooting, I think TNT has more weapons but Magnolia has the system and chemistry to outdo them.
The bench will be a fascinating battle but I think the bench of TNT has more experience and versatility.
Although, I am expecting Magnolia to be able to keep Calvin Abueva at his peak impact.
Combining everything above, I will choose TNT but this may actually end up in a classic game 7 where Magnolia managed to get the crown.
