PBA Trade Rumors: Ginebra is planning to trade for these two guards?

The entire PBA universe was shocked to see the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel struggling and only managing the 8th finish in the elimination round.

In terms of their play inside the court, spacing has been their biggest issue. Yes. They managed to overcome it in the last two conferences but not this year.

Barangay Ginebra averaged the least number of three-pointers made per game at 7.2. They shot 29% from the field.

With the defense aware that Ginebra cannot torch them from the outside, they can easily harden their defense in the paint and Ginebra will struggle scoring.

Now, there is a rumor that Ginebra is targeting elite shooters in Terrence Romeo and Juami Tiongson. Two guys who can shoot the lights out.

Regarding Romeo, we already saw the rumored trade package and we do not think that Ginebra will give up that much for Romeo.

Juami will be a different story. Even though he just had his breakout tournament, Ginebra still does not need to pay that much to get him.

His shooting and average point guard virtues could be a good fit for the team. So, between the two, Tiongson could be the most likely possibility.
