The San Miguel Corporation is in a big big trouble. TNT is just two wins away from defeating all the SMC teams in this 2021 Philippine Cup playoffs.
That is the reason why I believed the management is so itchy about making a trade soon. Especially the management of San Miguel Beermen and Barangay Ginebra San Miguel. Considered to have a better roster than TNT and even Magnolia.
One of the young studs that have been rumored to be traded to one of the teams soon, is Robert Bolick. The former King Lion of San Beda.
Robert actually has an amazing tournament, averaging 18.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 39% FG per game.
So, which is the better fit for him, San Miguel or Ginebra?
Unfortunately for the fans of the Beermen and Ginebra, Robert may not go to any of those teams, soon. Do you know why?
According to Snow Badua, Robert already talked to the management of Northport and that he is not on his way to Japan B League, by February.
Northport will have a hard time stopping him because his contract will end by the end of this season. Knowing that the PBA allowed Ray Parks and Kiefer Ravena, stopping Robert will be hard for SMC and even the PBA.
