PBA Trade Rumors: Ginebra will sacrificed Scottie Thompson to rebuild?

With Barangay Ginebra San Miguel eliminated from the current tournament, there is now some laughable trade rumors that are coming out.

One of it is this three team trade between San Miguel Beeermen, Northport Batang Pier and Barangay Ginebra.

In the rumor, Northport will be getting Scottie Thompson, Alex Cabagnot and Jeff Chan. While San Miguel will get Robert Bolick and Ginebra will acquire Terrence Romeo.

Of course, the Terrence Romeo to Ginebra trade was already released by Snow Badua. So, we are pretty familiar with it.

The trade though has a questionable side. San Miguel will give up Terrence Romeo and Alex Cabagnot for Bolick?

No way. Terrence Romeo and Bolick should be and I think the media value them equally. So, there is no point in adding Alex Cabagnot.

Unless, SMC wants Northport to win the trade in terms of value. Yes. It is not happening.

Also, I do not think Ginebra will give up Scottie Thompson to get a Terrence Romeo. Scottie has a vital role in the scheme of coach Tim Cone. If they do that, coach Tim will need to change his system, by a lot.
