PBA Trade Rumors: Should Ginebra trade for a superstar?

I am pretty sure that the management of Barangay Ginebra San Miguel are as angry as the fans with what happened to their team this tournament.

That will surely make them itchy to make a big move and trade for a superstar. But, do they really need to trade for one?

Their biggest problem in the Philippine Cup was chemistry and outside shooting. Actually, we can look at it from another angle and say that coach Tim Cone was the culprit.

And knowing the level of a coach Tim Cone, there is a 95% chance that it will not happen again. In short, coach Tim will bounce back and do the right thing.

Then, the return of Justin Brownlee will help mitigate their problem in spacing as he will be playing 35 to 44 minutes every night. He is an elite shooter and spacer.

So, I think adding a forward who is capable to defend multiple positions and a solid defender could be enough.

That makes me believe that the rumored Art Dela Cruz and Brian Enriquez for Carl Bryan Cruz is the trade that Ginebra needs.

With CBC, they now have another player that they can partner with any four of their core and the spacing should be fine.
