The fact that Alaska Aces traded Jvee Casio was not a surprise to us because as early as last year, we have been hinting about a Casio trade just because of the simple logic that he is their oldest player and he has a high salary.
Now that he is with Blackwater, I am pretty sure that all the other teams may want to see what they can give up to get him.
So, which are the three best teams that should really consider it?
Rain or Shine
Rain or Shine should consider adding him if they want a much better performance in the upcoming Import-laden tournament.
Casio will surely be an upgrade for the upcoming tournament from their rookie point guards, Caracut and Asistio. JVee can then also act as the mentor to the two rookies.
NLEX
With the departure of Kiefer Ravena to Japan, a lot of minutes in the point guard position was vacated. JVee can surely fill-up for that.
Ginebra
There is no doubt in my mind that JVee will be an excellent addition to the line-up of Ginebra. Remember that he was also a former player of coach Tim Cone. I am pretty sure that chemistry will not be an issue and he will also provide spacing that they badly need.
