PBA Controversy: Will the PBA allow SMB's Terrence Romeo to go to Japan B League?

There is no denying that the arrival of Japan B League has shaken the PBA universe. The PBA cannot deny that as they just adjust the rules to make the league more enticing, especially to the amateur players who are looking for a professional league.

Those rule changes though are not enough to stop the teams from Japan B League to offer amazing contracts to the PBA players.

According to Snow Badua, Terrence Romeo is one of the most popular names among the teams in the Japan B League.

According to Snow Badua, the current offer stands at $55,000 every month. That will equate to P2.25 million per year.

It is four times higher than the current maximum amount in the PBA. Although, San Miguel has the machinery to come close or even match that offer. Specially if the rumored Romeo to Ginebra trade is true.

The first issue here is the fact that the contract of Terrence will only be complete a year from now. The question is, can the PBA provide the same process that they gave to Kiefer Ravena?

Rumors are circulating that the SMC teams are standing firm that they will not allow these type of decisions.

But, I think Terrence, together with the PBA universe, can pressure the PBA and the San Miguel Corporation in giving the green light to Terrence.
