PBA Power Ranking the Imports: Ginebra's Brownlee is the best, right?

Here is our first ranking of the 12 current imports for the upcoming tournament!

#12 Blackwater - Jaylen Bond
The reinforcement of Blackwater plays more of a role player back in the States. I do not think he is skilled enough to lead Blackwater into something meaningful in the upcoming tournament.

#11 Terrafirma - Antonio Hester
Has been an efficient scorer in his recent stints but the level of production is low. I do not expect that much from him.

#10 San Miguel - Brandon Brown
He has been a veteran import in the Korean Basketball League. And in that lower level league, he most recently put up 15.3 points, 6.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.5 steals per game. That is not that much to expect from that.

#9 Alaska - Olu Ashaolu
He is a slasher. I wonder though why Alaska selected an import who cannot shoot from beyond the arc. Is this a tanking move?

#8 Phoenix - Paul Harris
Paul was not impressive in his first stint in the PBA. Although, the physical tools are there for him to succeed.

#7 Meralco - Tony Bishop
Unfortunately for Meralco, their first choice back out. They found an import who can fill-up the stat sheet. This 2021, his numbers are 14.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.1 steals and 47% FG per game.

#6 TNT - McKenzie Moore
TNT had been bringing the biggest name in the most recent import tournaments. In this one, they will bring an import that could be a good fit. Moore can pass and then do the other things.

#5 Northport - Cameron Forte
He is a dominant scorer without a reliable three-point shot. In 2020, he averaged 25.4 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.8 steals and 60% FG per game.

#4 Rain or Shine - Henry Walker
A known commodity in the PBA. He is a volume shooter. And if he can still do it, he can be a good leader for Rain or Shine.

#3 Magnolia - Mike Harris
He has a similar style to that of Walker but Harris is more explosive. Last 2019 Governors' Cup, he produced 32.0 points, 8.2 rebounds, 7.2 assists and 3.0 steals per game. If the defense is still there, Magnolia may have found their perfect import.

#2 BGSM - Justin Brownlee
The most successful import of this era. He can arguably be the #1 in this ranking. Overall, Ginebra badly needs him after a disastrous stint in the Philippine Cup.

#1 NLEX - KJ McDaniels
KJ was a monster in his first stint in the PBA. NLEX needs a monster to lead them into a surprising title run.
