PBA Trade Analysis: Is the TNT-Blackwater exchange lopsided, like the trades of Ginebra and etc.?

San Miguel Corporation continues to pile up trades in hope of recovering the top spot from the MVP group.

TNT though is not stopping from improving their team. After adding Gab Banal from the free-agency market, they just made a deal with Blackwater.

TNT received Carl Bran Cruz, Mark Acuno
Blackwater received TNT 1st round pick and Chris Javier

In comparison to the trades of San Miguel Corporation, this one may not look as lopsided because of the 1st round pick involve.

But, that is not enough to fool us. That 1st round pick is highly likely to end up in the #9 to #12 range. And there is an argument that, that should be the price for an injury-prone Carl Bryan Cruz.

So, what makes this lopsided is the Mark Acuno for Chris Javier part. Javier was actually released by Blackwater. And now, he is being traded back?

Acuno should have a trade value because he is 6'7 and still young. Javier has zero trade value as he did not even play in the most recent tournament.

TEAM ANALYSIS
TNT

This is a good trade for TNT as they further beef up their line-up. Carl Bryan Cruz does not need the ball to be effective.
Grade: B

BLACKWATER
The idea of trading CBC is not bad because of how injury-prone but not for a trade where they clearly lose.
Grade: E
