PBA Trade Rumors: Ginebra was gifted another breakout player by Northport

After the big move of the San Miguel Beermen yesterday. Ginebra also made their move by acquiring Sidney Onwubere in exchange for Art Dela Cruz.

Is the trade fair?

Hell, no!

From any angle, there is no way that you can look at this as a fair trade. Art did not play a single game this year because of his injury issues. Actually, He has not played a lot of games for the entirety of his career, because of injuries. 

On the other hand, Sidney just showed that he is a quality basketball player in his last two tournaments. Basically, Ginebra traded a player that they do not utilize for someone who is just breaking out. 

By the way, Sidney is also younger by a year.

Is there even a question that Ginebra won this trade? Sidney averaged 9.6 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 25% 3FG per game.

The most crucial thing about Sidney is his willingness to take a three-point shot.
