The rules are updated and now, Filipino-Foreigners will have a much easier time joining the PBA! So, what can we expect?
#1 BWE: Thirdy Ravena - Unless we hear from Thirdy himself, I still believe that Thirdy and the MVP group will find a way for him to enter the upcoming PBA draft.
#2 ALA: Sedrick Barefield - If my memory serves me right, he can be the first-ever PBA draftee who has NBA G League experience! Barefield is a scorer and with elite three-point shot. Perfect fit for Alaska.
#3 DYIP: Jason Brickman - Brickman could be the point guard that can maximize the promising young line-up of Terrafirma Dyip. He is an elite shooter and his playmaking is world-class.
#4 ALA: Justine Baltazar - This could be the dream draft for Alaska. Getting the scorer that they badly need and then a young bigman that every championship team needs in the PBA.
#5 BGSM: Mikh McKinney - With the increase in the maximum number of Fil-Foreigners per team. Ginebra can now target Mikh without thinking of making a trade. Mikh is a perfect fit for Ginebra.
#6 NLEX: Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser - After Baltazar, Brandon is currently the most hyped bigman in this draft. NLEX may want to keep adding bigman as JR Quinahan is near his retirement.
#7 ROS: Jeremiah Gray - I think, it will be hard to see Gray fall below Rain or Shine. Rain or Shine may want to look for someone that can takeover the role of Gabe. Jeremiah has that potential.
#8 NOR: Lawrence Domingo - With the rule change, Domingo is likely to enter the upcoming draft. I think he will have a huge hype because of his Alab stint. I expect Northport to seal another bigman.
#9 BWE: Juan Gomez de Liano - Another guy that I expect to enter the upcoming draft. If the upcoming draft is littered with Fil-Foreigners. Juan can easily slip to one of the later picks of Blackwater.
#10 ROS: Brandon Bates - I also expect Bates to take advantage of the new rule. He has that size that a championship team needs. Rain or Shine also have the experience of improving bigs like Bates.
#11 MAG: Cael Tiongson - He was once anointed as a lite version of Rudy Hatfield. In short, his playing style is close to that of Marc Pingris. Can he become the 2nd coming of Pinoy Sakuragi?
#12 BWE: Javi Gomez de Liano - Knowing the connection of Javi to the MVP group. I think Blackwater will make sure that they will still have Javi. Although, this will lead to a very interesting 2nd round.
